At an emergency department in Florida, our partner James Rodriguez, DO has been instrumental this year in helping develop and implement the facility policy for treating large Pulmonary Emboli in critical patients. This has included coordinating with diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, emergency department and ICU personnel.

Dr. Rodriguez’ commitment to this project reflects both his approach to sophisticated systems based treatment, as well as the primary role our emergency physician partners take in advancing the quality of care in our hospitals for our neediest patients.
