Dr. Reza Vaezazizi, originally from Southern California, graduated from UCLA with a degree in Kinesiology. His journey toward becoming a physician was inspired by his 10 years as a licensed paramedic responding to 911 calls. In 1997, he obtained his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 2000.
With 30 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, Dr. V has a particular focus on Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Since 2012, he has served as the medical director for Southwest Healthcare-Inland Valley and Rancho Springs hospitals. Moreover, he actively maintains his passion for EMS and currently holds the position of medical director for two local EMS agencies in California, overseeing operations in San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo, and Mono Counties.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. V is a licensed private pilot with an instrument rating. He takes pleasure in flying his Cirrus SR22 aircraft for both work and leisure. It’s noteworthy that the Cirrus aircraft stands out as the only one equipped with a standard whole-plane parachute system, emphasizing its commitment to safety.
