Dr. Teresa Rawe, DO, grew up in Bradenton, Florida, and returned there after training to serve the local community through emergency medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) and went on to receive her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Rawe has practiced at Manatee Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years and now serves as Medical Director, overseeing the main campus and three freestanding emergency departments in Bradenton.

Dr. Rawe has been actively involved in hospital leadership throughout her career, serving on numerous committees and currently holding the role of Vice Chief of Staff. She is slated to become Chief of Staff in 2027. One of the aspects she values most about Manatee Memorial Hospital is its longstanding role as the county’s safety net hospital, which makes her work as a physician especially meaningful and fulfilling.

In her free time, Dr. Rawe enjoys boating, golfing, and traveling. She is also actively involved in community organizations. She has two children, one training to climb Mount Denali and the other is the worlds best adaptive slopestyle skier.
